uBlock Origin is now blocked by Google. uBlock no longer works for Manifest v3.0 and up. Long story short, Google fears and does not want uBlock to exist as it wreaks havoc on ad agencies and websites with deceptive practices. As users main use of computer is using the Internet, protecting our customer is important:
Recommend to users that Firefox is a better browser for safety.
Install uBlock on any browser they use.

Most people use a computer just to use the internet, they do 95% of work online.
Most browsers are unprotected from the malicious and marketing payloads and other unknowns that web sites generate.
uBlock Origin is not retail/commercial, but a free extension that goes on browsers to help protect them.
Chrome and others are actively trying to block these types of ad blockers as they are effective with uBlock being the most popular and effective.
Chrome has started to remove support and install of uBlock as it is a threat, especially to Youtube ads.
How to do Manual Install
- Download from homepage (Github is home, anything else fake) - https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases
- On the latest release, look at the bottom and click on Assets.
- Download the one that says Chromium.
- Download the one that says Chromium.
- Download the zip file.
- Windows Security (antivirus) will also attempt to block the this zip file.
- In search bar type in Windows Security or launch it from task manager bottom right.
- Go to the Virus & Threat Protection area.
- Go to 'Protection History' and find the entry (go by date/time) and select that threat and 'Allow on Computer'.
- Extract the zip file (do not double click, right click and find extract to folder option, in Win11, go to more options to see it).
- Open the folder, if another subfolder, rename that folder to 'ublock'. If you don't, it might not work.
- Go to Chrome browser and inside search bar type - chrome://extensions/
- Enable 'Developer Mode' top right.
- Then top left, select 'Load Unpacked' option.
- Select the folder where you extracted and renamed the folder to 'ublock'.
- You should now see it installed with an error for Manifest V2, will still work until Chrome blocks again.
- Chrome will popup the extension saying to 'Remove' and no longer supported. Click on 'Manage Extension', then tell Chrome 'Got It' to approve.
- Customers will have to do a manual update, the same process as listed above.
